It has been now one week than I came back to Toulon, after living almost 2 years in the suburbs of Paris for my studies.

Well, the most impressive change in my life is that from a student life (doing whatever I want whenever I want), I have to switch back to a family life and recover my forgotten habits in my family.
It is not especially difficult, but it sometimes causes troubles: authority conflicts, problems for deciding who will do the housekeeping tasks …

The other main change is that I feel happier in Toulon than in Paris, though my activities are for the moment not very different: being in front of my MacBook Pro laptop or seeing friends, but there’s something that I missed a lot during these two years: the sunshine and the clear blue sky that you can find in Toulon.
Life style is also calmer, people do not run in the escalators and there’s no subway. Toulon is an almost peaceful city (300 000 inhabitants) and I really like it.
The inconvenient maybe is that it is hard finding big shops or special products, while in Paris it was a common thing, but I prefer resting in Toulon thatn having a stressed life there.

All this to say, well I am currently happy to come back to Toulon after these two years, it will give me the break I needed I think.
